Get ready for a fun and uplifting aerobic workout! Kickboxing in the water helps prevent injuries, but also strengthens and tones muscles.
Swimmers will be introduced to butterfly and continue to work on speed, endurance and stroke technique.
This non-aerobic class concentrates on balance, toning, strengthening, and flexibility. This relaxing class in the warm water pool is a great stress reliever.
Allow yourself to experience an enjoyable and versatile form of exercise. This class is designed to help you overcome your fear of the water and develop fundamental skills.
This program is for anyone trying to improve their fitness level through swimming. This includes fitness lap swimmers, those who wish to compete and those who don't. If you want to improve technique, take your workout to the next level or like the motivation of swimming with a group this is the program for you.
Bring your infant (ages 6 months - 3 years) and enjoy the benefits that come from this aquatic experience. This class requires a parent be in the water with their child. A swim diaper is required. Please bring a small water toy. See Aquatics Director for any questions. All swimmers must start in Level 1.
These one-on-one lessons are designed to fit your individual needs, whether it's learning how to swim, perfecting your technique, or just simply needing a little extra help. Private lessons may be the perfect fit for you. Call the Aquatic Department for more information at 664-0544.
Swimmers will work on all swimming strokes, with an emphasis on endurance, stroke techniques, and more advanced rescue skills. Levels range from beginner (Level 1) to advanced (Levels 6a & 6b). Please see Aquatics Director for a swim test and class placement.
Learn different swimming exercises while developing stronger swimming skills.
Join Janet Snyder for an upbeat class that uses all muscle groups in upper and lower torso. Lots of fun moves and arm work at a brisk pace. Class promotes body awareness and good involvement. Water weights and wall work round out the class.
Participants use the water for a moderate cardiovascular and muscle conditioning workout with instructor Marge McClure.
Aerobics and toning.
A class that challenges the individual rather than competing with each other. Get exactly the workout you want by working as hard or as easy as you wish. Lots of stretching, arm work and cardio.
