Y-Boy Scouts Pack 3405

As part of the YMCA After School Program, the Y runs a Boy Scout Pack (Tiger, Wolf, Bear & Webelo dens).

Meeting times: Tiger & Webelo (Tuesdays, 4–5 pm), Bear, Wolf (Wednesdays, 4–5 pm)

Costs: 

Registration Fee: $15, Scout Handbook $7, Y Scout T-Shirt $9, Pack Dues $36

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

SCOUTING 

Help the environment and help us by putting aside some of your recycled or unwanted items for our resourceful scout leaders and boy scouts.

Examples:

Plastic containers, plastic milk jugs, bleach bottles, egg cartons, newspapers, magazzines (child friendly),  cardboard shoe boxes, paper towel rolls, paper bags, string, thread, yarn, shells, metal, buttons, scrap metal, wood pieces,bolts, nuts, tools, odd socks, rags.

Other materials you might want to donate:

Sand paper, paint, brushes, basic hammer and wrench set, basic screwdriver set, assorted leather, rope, canvass, screws, and Drill bits, measuring tape, knitting needles, fabric pieces and odds and ends, sewing machine needles, dowling pieces, old broom or mop handles, wire hangers, stop watches, a compass or two, safety eye glasses for kids.

ST MARTIN DEPORRES CENTER INC.

The Child Care After School Program collects plastic and paper sacks for its neighbor St Martin DePorres Center. These can be left with the Front Desk staff of the YMCA. The sacks are used for food collecttion when St Martin opens its food bank. In return St Martin provides the After School Emergency Care when school closes, with lunches for children who are at the Y over that time.
