Membership Cards
Membership cards are required upon entering the facility and at secure access points throughout. Also, registering for a class at special membership rates. To ensure that membership privileges neither abused nor misused, only you may use your own membership card.

United Way Agency
The Grant County Family YMCA is a member agency of the United Way. Your donations to the United Way help to fund programs such as child care, water safety education, physical fitness activities and more. We encourage everyone to give their fair share. Admittance Policy for Children
Children under the age of ten must be supervised by their parent or 18-year-old guardian. Please do not leave your children at the YMCA if there is not scheduled activity for them. To make the best use of the YMCA's facilities, Open Gym and Open Swim are offered at specific times. For your convenience, call 664-0544 to check the gym and pool schedules before dropping off your children. Back to Top
Strength Training Instructions for Members 16-18 Years Old
All members 16-18 who wish to use the Cybex and weight room areas must have their parents sign a consent form. If extra help is needed to help use the equipment please see the designated fitness trainer on duty. In addition, the parent or guardian (over age 18) must accompany children ages 14 and 15 in these areas unless the child has a Well Pass and has completed the Student Fitness Orientation Class. Children ages 11-13 may enter the fitness area only if they have completed the Student Fitness Class and are accompanied by a parent. Children ages 11-15 must have their Well Pass to come into the area. There will be no exceptions.

Military Policy
Active duty military personnel home on leave and delay-entry recruits may obtain a free daily pass to the Grant County Family YMCA. Valid ID card is necessary. Back to Top

The Grant County Family YMCA has an endowment with the Community Foundation of Grant County, Indiana, Inc. Back to Top
Hands of Hope Donation Site
The Grant County Family YMCA serves as a donation site for the Hands of Hope of Grant County (formerly known as the Women's Shelter). You may bring small items to the front desk of the YMCA. Unload larger donations on the east side of the Y. Back to Top
Lost and Found
Any lost items which we recover will be placed in a Lost & Found box. Please check with the front desk if articles of clothing or other personal items are lost. The YMCA is not responsible for personal belongings. Back to Top
YMCA Bill of Rights
The YMCA is a family-focused Christian organization. Members and guests will have the right to a healthy and wholesome environment. Any actions deemed as an infringement on these rights may result in loss of membership or guest privileges. Back to Top
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are available any time at the front desk. They may be used at any time and can be purchased in any amount. They can be used toward any YMCA membership program, class, child care or day camp. Back to Top
Photo Opportunities
From time to time, we photograph activities for promotional purposes. If you object to having your photo taken, please speak up at the time the photos are taken. We will understand.
Concerns, Suggestions & Complaints
No complaint or concern is too small, and of course, compliments are encouraged and appreciated. You may complete a suggestion form located at the front desk for a personal written response, or speak directly to the Executive Director or any of the Management Staff. Back to Top
